WARNING! Don’t expose them to examples of bad

Think of the brain as an automated recording and mimicking device that learns from exposure, but–and this is the scary part–it typically learns best what it records the most.

Even when we know (consciously) that we’re seeing examples of bad or beginner quality, our brain might not get the memo.

Worse, our brain is not just failing to distinguish bad from good, it’s actively learning and trying to imitate those bad examples.

It says that’s an example of good.

And hmmm, OK, it says this one is an

example of bad, and then...

I’m NOT interested in your

judgements, I’m just trying to

pick-up the pattern.

The brain can excel at information pick-up

while “ignoring” the good vs. bad labels.
